Diploma In Hairdressing QCF Level 2/3 – Combined
Become a fully qualified hairdresser in just over 9 months
Hairdressing is a huge industry worth billions to our economy. There are approximately 35,700 salons open across the UK that cater to men and women. Male grooming is on the rise, whilst females continue to prioritise their hair spend and treat themselves at the salon. There is plenty of opportunity to practise this dynamic trade in a salon and at a number of other places, such as hotels, hospitals and care homes, cruise ships and armed forces bases.
A fast track, part time course to become a fully qualified hairdresser
The structure and content of this 36 week part time training course leading up to the VTCT Level 2/3 Diploma in Hairdressing is based on over 40 years’ hands-on experience in the hairdressing industry, coaching thousands of students. Many of our graduates have progressed to setting up their own successful salons. Unlike some other part time hairdresser courses, ours is designed to give you a qualification that is “job ready” with all the skills you need to work (employed or self-employed) as a fully qualified senior hairdresser/stylist.
Looking for hairdressing courses online? Ours is indeed the ultimate hairdressing course
Whilst the practical training takes place in a salon type environment you can study the essential theoretical foundation online in the comfort of your own home and at times that suit you.
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing QCF Qualification is based on the Hairdressing National Occupation Standards (NOS) and is approved by HABIA (Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications. It is also recognised by the UK’s leading hairdressing professional association (The Hair Council).
Entry requirements for our unique online hairdressing course
There’s no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this hairdresser course. Apart from being at least 16 years of age, joining this part time course is open to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
The unique thing about this training is that not only does it include the all the level 3 units but it also incorporates some of the core units from the VTCT Level 2 Hairdressing (QCF) course. Therefore it is ideal if you are looking to become a fully qualified and state registered hairdresser but have no previous experience in hairdressing whatsoever.
Distance learning and hands-on instruction for effective training
Hair dressing courses, especially hairdressing evening courses are proving to be very popular. The on – campus learning is part time, 2 evenings a week running on Mondays and Tuesdays (5.30pm – 8.30pm) from one of our hairdressing training centres. That is just 6 hours practical training per week to fit around your day job and other commitments. You will be able to study the theory online when and where suits you best.
An exceptional bonus with long lasting benefits
You will have the opportunity to attend master classes delivered by the international stylist, Mr Carl Shaw. This extra tuition by a top class professional will ensure that you are more than ready to step confidently into the working world of hairdressing.

After you finish the course, go for it! You have ‘people’ skills; you are creative and aware of the latest fashions. Now you have learnt the theory, picked up the practical skills and have acquired the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing QCF Qualification.
