Advanced Tear & Cheek Trough Dermal Fillers Course

Advanced Tear & Cheek Trough Dermal Fillers Course

Dermal fillers are currently the most popular non-surgical cosmetic/aesthetics procedure. Dermal fillers are small injections of gel, typically made up of hyaluronic acid and local anaesthetic, which fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. You can have dermal fillers in different parts of your face: the chin, cheeks, mouth and jaw line amongst other areas. As well as those areas, lip fillers are administered directly into the lip tissue.

Dermal Fillers basically restores lost volume to your face and plumps areas, so that deep set lines are smoothed. Why is this needed? Well, as we get older our bodies stop producing collagen and elastin, both of which contribute to the youthful look. Experts argue over when we start losing collagen; but it is generally agreed around the age of 25.Your collagen and elastin levels then decline at a rate of about 2% per year, and your body will have stopped producing it altogether by your late twenties. Dermal Fillers have been used for decades to restore lost volume or add lift resulting in a youthful appearance. The market for dermal fillers is ever growing and it is targeted at all age groups.

The tear and cheek trough is the area between your lower eyelid and cheek and as we age, we can experience volume loss in this area which can often cause dark circles and hollows under the eyes. This is not an uncommon problem and can be treated easily with Dermal Filler, which quickly and effectively restores lost volume, and reduces dark circles. It also reduces fine lines and wrinkles as the Dermal Fillers will boost collagen production by hydrating from the inside. This treatment will give you natural-looking results with a fresher, less tired-looking appearance. This is a specialised and delicate area and we will teach you how to administer in this area using the cannula method exclusively.
